Our Story
Davis Downs is a family owned hazelnut orchard in the deep south, creating unique recipes and producing small batch gourmet hazelnut products from high quality, own grown hazelnuts.
Donna and Andrew took over the farm in 2018 and began the journey of restoring it to a productive, healthy orchard, producing 1.2 tons of hazelnuts a year. With a passion for food, and the care that goes into growing a high quality harvest, it made sense to create a range of bespoke hazelnut products, rather than selling the bulk of the harvest to wholesalers. We love local and believe in supporting the Southland economy; we sell through other small local businesses including cafe’s and small food retailers, as well as online via our website.

All our products are made from hazelnuts grown and harvested in our orchard here in Southland, on the outskirts of Invercargill.
